It's really weird to have an old HS friend who you haven't spoken to in at least two years or more IM you with a movie recommendation...and to quasi-catch up. It's just weird.

Well, that was (not quite) fun. Double checking that all files moving off of my old media drive have made it to the new external safe and sound, then deleting what's been transferred while making sure I didn't take out the ones that have yet to go. Who knew perusing high school yearbooks could be so interesting? It's odd how five years later, I know people have changed their look (a little more "weather-beaten" perhaps, lost/gained weight, etc.) and yet for those I haven't seen lately, that picture from the yearbook is still what I have in my mind. Saw more Conestoga people in three days than I have in three years, and managed to hear second- third- or nth-hand information about a whole lot of other people.
